We recently had the opportunity to work with an entrepreneur who came to us with a website development request. At the start, they had an ideaโ€”but no clear differentiation or customer understanding. We believe a good website needs to ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ to potential customers. So, instead of diving straight into design, we spent a few hours on strategy & planning. 2weeks later the results are nothing short of remarkable.

In our meeting, we focused on refining their ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป, identifying key ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€, & developing a plan to ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ต๐˜†๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€.

The goal was simple: identify a gap in the market, determine what makes their product stand out, & test that quickly with real customers

By ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด, understanding their target audience, & designing a testable strategy, we moved from just an idea to real traction. And incredibly, within just 2๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐˜€ of implementing our plan, they landed their ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿ†โ€” now, theyโ€™re dealing with the exciting (& overwhelming!) challenge of having ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—น๐—ฒ. ๐ŸŽฏ

But thatโ€™s not where the story ends. We encouraged them to gather ๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ from that first customer to refine the service/offering further. We also suggested they actively seek ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€ & measure enthusiasm through ๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜€๐—ผ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€. This feedback loop allowed them tweak their messaging, improve the customer experience, & align their service even better with market needs.

Today, theyโ€™re ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—น๐˜†-๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„๐˜๐—ต with ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€, ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€, & the challenge of scaling up to meet rising demand. The best part? This success wasnโ€™t about having the perfect product from day one. It was about:
